Do I love you?

mine would be a universe of beaches.

Curiouser and curiouser :: Part 2

So I showed you my handy work on Tuesday, Now its time to see Sarah's... I'll let the pictures do the talking!

I told you they were amazing didn't I!

Sarah's attention to detail and creativity with the props enabled her to capture the Alice feel perfectly in each photo. I think she would even have gone so far as to have a real life white rabbit if one had of been available!

Thanks again to Sarah for letting me be involved, I loved every minute!

Dance as though no one is watching.
Love as though you've never been hurt.
Sing as though no one can hear you.
Live as though heaven is on earth.

Curiouser and curiouser :: Part 1

I have always loved the Alice in Wonderland story so when Sarah of Sarah Vivienne Photography approached me to see if I would be interested in coming up with some designs for an Alice themed shoot she was planning I literally jumped at the chance to take part!

I dropped the designs over to the beautiful Kelmarsh Hall on the morning of the shoot. Whilst there I got a behind the scenes glimpse at the magic that was taking place, flowers being arranged and cute little cupcakes being displayed on lovely vintage china... I left knowing that the final photos were going to be amazing and I couldn't wait to see them!

I am planning to tweak the designs a little, I want them to have more of a vintage feel and I want to include some hearts or spades in them somewhere! When they are done I will post an update but for now, as promised, here are some of the final images that Sarah sent over to me along with some close ups of the designs themselves.

On Thursday I will be sharing some of my favourite photos from the rest of the shoot so be sure to pop back, I promise you they are amazing!

My Friday...

A little while back I spotted that Lynne from Tea for Joy was planning to run a 'Blogging for Designers' course, I jumped at the chance to learn some new blogging tips and tricks and got myself signed up straight away.

So last Friday I set off down to London town to meet Lynne and the other like minded bloggers booked onto the course. It was a great day, I really enjoyed meeting everybody and discussing / learning more about their work and their blogs.

If you haven't already then pop over and check out Tea for Joy, I love the 'Tea of the week' posts!

Also on the course I met Julie from The Crafty Currant

Heather from Crafty Little Greetings

and Madeleine from Madeleine Boulesteix

I'm really looking forward to seeing how everyones blogs change over the next few months as we all implement the things we learn't from Lynne!

My first change... Well I have bought the name twentysevenyearslater.com now I just need to figure out how to change it over!
