Love Notes :: 9
Today I married my best friend,
Our bond complete, it hath no end,
We share one soul, we share one heart,
A perfect time - a perfect start.
With these rings we share together,
Love so close to last forever,
This special day - two special hearts,
Let nothing keep this love apart.

Fingers & Toes...
Isabella & Edward's Christening Invitations.
Isabella & Edward's double sided invitations are printed on smooth, brilliant white card. The front details the children's names and the invitation wording is on the back. I used a pink and blue colour scheme along with little hand and foot prints to illustrate that it is a little brother and sisters Christening Day.

Image One Love Photo via Snippet & Ink
When I look in my daughter’s eyes, I can’t help but be joyful and glad.
This is the day she has dreamt about, for just about all her life.
She’s going to be such a beautiful bride and a loving, caring wife.
I’ll stand with the congregation as my daughter walks down the aisle
And even though there are tears in my eyes, my face will bare a smile.
For I know that I was very blessed when God lent this child to me.
To love and care for and nurture, so she would grow up to be
This lovely, bright young woman, who tomorrow will be a bride
And as always I’ll be there, with love at my daughter’s side.

Invitation :: Nicola & Tom
I designed these invitations for my dear friends Nicola & Tom. They requested a classic design to match their beautiful venue Buxted Park, using their wedding colours (shown at the top). Its a two fold design, with the invitation wording on the front, the information in the middle and then a tear off postcard style rsvp at the end. It was a privilege to design and hand finish the invitations for them and I can't wait to until their big day... Pop back after the 3rd of April to see some photos from the day!

Versatile design...
So you like part of one design but would prefer it with another? No problem! When I designed the 2010 collection I did so with versatility in mind, I wanted to create stationery that you could have as much input into as possible. Ribbons and crystals can be added or taken off, I can incorporate beads or pearls that match your dress, or how about some vintage buttons to finish off the look? Lastly the whole collection can be matched perfectly to your colour scheme.
If you would like to find out more about the collection please feel free to drop me an email, I would love to hear from you!

A little bit about me and Beau...
After graduating with a degree in graphic design in 2002, i decided that i wanted to use my hands to make things as much as i wanted to use a computer to design them...
I love to create pretty things, I could sit for hours tying ribbons and making things look just perfect - my passion is creating beautiful stationery that not only do couples love to send but their guests love to receive, from save the dates and tiny lables to order of service and seating plans, I am proud to say that I give each piece of stationery the same love and attention as the next.
Design :: Beau :: Click image to enlarge
Let me introduce the above design, her name is Beau and I designed her especially for my own wedding! The lovely thing about Beau is the circular pattern which is hot foiled onto the smooth white card to give a reflective metallic effect.
If you would like to find out more about Beau or any of the other designs in the collection please feel free to drop me an email, I would love to hear from you!

Love is a temporary madness, it erupts like volcanoes then subsides.
And when it subsides you have to make a decision.
You have to work out whether your roots have so entwined together
That it is inconceivable that you should ever part.
Because that is what love is.
Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement,
It is not the proclamation of promises of eternal passion...
That is just being “in love”, which any fool can do.
Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away,
And this is both an art and a fortunate accident...
To have roots that grow towards each other underground,
So that when all the pretty blossom has fallen from your branches
You find that you are one tree and not two.

Lovely links...
How about a few lovely links to finish off the week...
Some back to basics planning tips for newly engaged couples from Zoe Lingard.

One of my favourite things about living in a village is hearing the Church bells so when I heard our Church was in need of new ringers to stop the tradition from dying out I thought I would give it a go! My father used to do it when he was younger and it seems I may of taken after him with my love for the bells! Last weekend I got to ring for the first wedding of the year, its lovely to be in Church whilst two people say their vows to each other and then to ring the bells to spread their happy news! You can see some of the wedding photos over at Nigel's blog here.
Some beautiful images of the wedding flowers Tracey at Foxtail Lilly created last year.
Lastly I have joined Twitter, if your into tweeting then you can follow me here.
Have a great weekend!

Pantone predicts...
Pantone have announced that they predict turquoise will be the hot colour for 2010! Personally I love turquoise, I like to use all different shades, however the classic Tiffany blue is a favourite of mine and when I want something a little more contemporary I like to mix it up with pops of bright colours like red... You can read more on their prediction here.
What do you think? Are you having turquoise for your theme?

One snowy day...
To go along with the wintery weather we are currently having I have some beautiful wintery photos to share with you today. These photos were taken by Nigel Ord-Smith back in February 2009 when we had the heavy snowfall that made everything look oh so white and pretty!
Models Lisa and Robyn donned some lovely wedding dresses and braved the wintery conditions and with Rushton Hall providing the perfect backdrop I'm sure you will agree that the finished photos were well worth a few shivers. I especially love the photo of Lisa making a snow angel whilst wearing some pink wellies! This got me thinking that it would be fun to put my special dress back on to try something like this or along these lines and Nigel would be my first port of call to take the photos.
I have had the privilege of watching Nigel work, he is a fantastic photographer who has a natural ability to put people at ease - just the way you would want to feel on your wedding day! So what are you waiting for... Pop over to his website to find out more about the photography services he offers and check out his blog to see some more of his beautiful photography!
